A Karl Storz Lithotripsy-America Application Specialist will instruct, at your facility, up to 3 students in a didactic and functional program. Allied health professionals participating in this program MUST be dedicated for the time allotted for this training period.


The individual(s) attending or participating in the Karl Storz Lithotripsy-America (KSLA) Modulith SLX-F2 Advanced Applications programs MUST have a solid understanding of the basic fundamental principles of lithotripsy. The KSLA Advanced Applications courses are designed with the idea that all students attending have a minimum 3 months of lithotripsy experience in addition to:

  • Knowledge and understanding of imaging systems
  • Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic anatomy
  • Some mechanical ability
